The last time I went to the North Carolina State F

The last time I went to the North Carolina State Fair was in 2016 -on my very first date with Tyler! This was our first time going back since that day, & it was so special to have our kids by our side🥰

I felt so many beautiful emotions at the fair☺️ so much warmth & wonder amidst all the colorful lights, delicious flavors, & happy chaos. I found myself noticing & admiring all the little moments - the laughter, excited squeals, smiles, curiosity, bravery, & pure wonder.

I’m so thankful God brought Tyler & I together all those years ago, & that he was kind & bold enough to fly me back to North Carolina from college in Tennessee just to take me on that first date to the North Carolina Fair 💛

Tyler & I spent hours (days, really) praying, drawing, tweaking, & designing these balusters until we finally got it just right. He then cut each of these beautiful boards himself.
Every little thing reminds me that God is in the details, & love is in this work. I hope everyone who walks up & down these stairs feels the same love & peace of the One who loves through us. 💛
